Forensic Psychiatry International Summer School 2025

From 17 to 19 September 2025 the new edition of the Forensic Psychiatry International Summer School was held in Taranto, at the Ionian Department School of Law of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, promoted by MAUL – Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology Association, SIPRiFo – Italian Society of Forensic Psychotherapy and Rehabilitation, and with the contribution of the School of Forensic Medicine of Taranto.

The initiative, sponsored by international institutions and scientific societies, represents an important opportunity for young psychiatrists and forensic science professionals to engage in dialogue, with the aim of deepening the clinical, legal, and medico-legal skills necessary for daily practice.
The program includes educational sessions, round tables, workshops, and scientific presentations dedicated to the most current topics in forensic psychiatry: capacity assessment, consent to treatment, care models, restrictive practices, writing medico-legal reports, procedural skills, and new technologies to support clinical decision-making.
